When the world of gaming heard CliffyB (Epic) and Arjan (Guerilla) were partering up to create a new studio, we knew we were in for something incredible. MadGlory joined the core Boss Key team to create a new suite of back-end services to power the game.

We partnered up with ZOMG-awesome Super Evil Megacorp to add even more Glory to VainGlory, the best mobile MOBA ever created. While we can say that we are building creative new online game services, we can't say exactly what we're working on. However, it's big, it's hella-cool, and it will change the way players experience the game.

Summary

MadGlory has a long and productive history working with brand teams at Warner Brothers. That is why it felt extra rewarding to work with a returning client on a site for one of the most anticipated video games of the year. We embraced a challenge of utilizing limited art assets, and focused on details that are impactful and not distracting.

Our in-house studio created visually stunning single-page website around a remarkable single piece of key art.

Many months after the project was wrapped up successfully; and, MadGlory helped to launch an extraordinary and functional website, the team is still overwhelmed with excitement and pride.

MadGlory designed and developed the site for the most successful release of the Lord of the Rings series of games, as well as created an opportunity for a seamless transition from app to mobile web browser, to keep gamers engaged at all times.

A successful game has several touch points with players. Strong communities are grown with effective messaging, promotion, and engaging events. For MadGlory, working with Epic Games to grow their community of players was the equivalent of a guitarist playing "Eruption" on stage with Eddie Van Halen.
